1. Break It Down: Micro Action Items

Utilize micro-action items for your goals and plans. Breaking down certain tasks and projects into multiple, digestible action items can help you move in the right direction to completing your overall goal.

2. "I Do What I Can."

Laser in on opportunities or activities you can do! 2020 brought a lot of restrictions and changes beyond our control. We’ve lost many initiatives that drove our businesses, but we shouldn’t dwell on the things we can’t do. Entrepreneur suggests focusing on what we can control and do such as reassessing your brands’ values and evaluating if your current attributes and activities support or align with those values.

3. Don’t Stress Over the Small Stuff

You start with a plan, but life happens, and that plan may be *slightly* derailed. Continue to look to the bigger picture, one minor hiccup doesn’t have to bring the entire plan down. In these moments you need to remain flexible and think of alternative options to keep you on track.

4. It's Good to Have Accountability

Implement accountability tactics that will help you commit to your goals and see them through to completion. Here are a few ways to ensure you’re holding yourself accountable for your goals.

  1. Celebrate the small victories + reward yourself! // YOU. DID. THAT.🎉

  2. Work in a distraction-free workspace. // Hello, Work Hub!!

  3. Evaluate your performance. // Analyze what’s holding you back from getting things done.

  4. Share on your socials. // Get support from your friends + community

  5. Ask for feedback. // Feedback can keep you on track and identify issues you may be overlooking.

We hope that some of these tips serve you well in the upcoming new year. We'd love to see your suggestions, comment below with some other planning resources or tips you use to keep your plans & projects on track!
